WATTSBURG, PA – The Crosby’s family of convenience stores serving Northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York is holding a grand opening celebration for its newly built store at 13580 Route 8 & 89 in Wattsburg, PA, on Friday, June 18 at 9 a.m.
The former Faulkner’s Country Market, acquired from Howard Faulkner in 2019, was razed in March of this year and a new store constructed on the site.
“We look forward to continuing to serve the Wattsburg community,” said Doug Galli, vice president and general manager of Reid Stores/Crosby’s Convenience Stores. “We are proud to carry on the tradition of providing a variety of fresh food options and other convenient amenities to the public, while supporting our local schools.”
The opening ceremony will feature local town leaders, including Superintendent of the Wattsburg School District Kenneth Berlin who will be presented with a $1,000 check on behalf of Crosby’s Stores.
The first 100 customers to arrive after 8 a.m. on the day of the grand opening will receive a $5 Crosby’s gift card. Customers who use their My Crosby’s Rewards Card at the Wattsburg location during the grand opening period will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win: a 50″ TV, Sonos Home Theater speaker, $25 Crosby’s gift card or $25 fuel gift card.
Customers of Crosby’s convenience stores will find a wide range of snacks and sides at the new store, including for the first time in Wattsburg Crosby’s signature pizzas and calzones, made-to-order subs for lunch or dinner, and a selection of fried foods like fries, jalapeno poppers, pizza logs and mac ’n’ cheese bites. The store also offers breakfast sandwiches, breakfast pizza and coffee to start the day.
The store will also offer a variety of fountain sodas and cold brew coffee in addition to Coffee House hot beverages, Slush Puppie iced drinks, f’real milkshakes and smoothies, and a wide selection of fresh and convenient grab and go offerings.
Guests can also get ice, propane and firewood, play the Pennsylvania Lottery, place a money order or take advantage of the on-site ATM and free Wi-Fi. The new store offers Shell branded fuel: regular gasoline, non-ethanol gasoline and diesel fuel.
Customers can also pay for their purchases with SNAP benefits. The store is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
