LOCKPORT, NY – The Crosby’s family of convenience stores serving Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania is holding a grand opening celebration for its newly remodeled store at 4531 Lake Ave. in Lockport, NY on Thursday, June 17 at 9 a.m.

“We look forward to continuing to serve the Lockport community from our newly remodeled flagship location,” said Doug Galli, vice president and general manager of Reid Stores/Crosby’s Convenience Stores. “Community has always been the foundation of our success. We take pride in providing our customers and our associates with a clean and safe environment to work and shop. That’s why we feel it’s important to invest and keep reinvesting in our properties. We are proud to carry on the tradition of providing a variety of fresh food options and other convenient amenities to the public, while supporting our local schools.”

The opening ceremony will feature local town leaders, including New York State Assemblyman Michael Norris, New York State Senator Robert Ortt and Superintendent of the Newfane School District Mike Baumann, who will be presented with a $1,000 check on behalf of Crosby’s Stores.

This is the first Crosby’s location to include a solar array. The new green technology provides 20 percent of the store’s energy use.

The first 100 customers to arrive after 8 a.m. on the day of the grand opening will receive a $5 Crosby’s gift card. Customers who use their My Crosby’s Rewards Card at the Lake Avenue location during the grand opening period will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win: a 50″ TV, Sonos Home Theater speaker, $25 Crosby’s gift card or $25 fuel gift card.

Customers of Crosby’s convenience stores will find a wide range of snacks and sides at the remodeled location, including Crosby’s signature pizzas and calzones, made-to-order subs for lunch or dinner, and a selection of fried foods like fries, jalapeno poppers, pizza logs and mac ’n’ cheese bites, and you can sit outside to enjoy your meal. The store also offers breakfast sandwiches, breakfast pizza and coffee to start the day.

And now customers can choose from a variety of fountain sodas and cold brew coffee in addition to Coffee House hot beverages.

Guests can also get ice, propane and firewood, play New York Lottery games, place a money order or take advantage of the on-site ATM and free Wi-Fi. The store offers Crosby branded fuel. Customers can pay for their purchases with SNAP benefits.

The store is open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
