Crosby’s recently celebrated the completion of remodeling and expansion work at its store in Wales, N.Y. with a grand reopening ceremony.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at the refreshed Wales store, located at 11566 Big Tree Road (State Route 20A) in East Aurora. After the ceremony, the first 100 customers were able to receive a $5 Crosby’s gift card, and guests could enter for a chance to win $25 Crosby’s and Mobil gift cards as well as an official Buffalo Bills helmet autographed by safety Micah Hyde throughout the day.

In addition to the giveaways, Crosby’s donated $500 to the Iroquois Central School District in support of student activities. Superintendent Douglas Scofield and Jane Sullivan, school board president, attended the grand reopening to accept the check on behalf of the district along with representatives from state Sen. Patrick Gallivan’s office and U.S. Rep. Chris Collins’ office, Wales Town Supervisor Ricker Venditti, Wales Town Historian Dee Ziegel, along with other Crosby’s staff.

The remodeled store will continue to offer a full range of meals and snack options, such as Crosby’s signature pizzas and calzones, including breakfast pizza. The store also offers breakfast sandwiches, made-to-order subs in the sub shoppe and fresh-baked cookies from the bake shoppe. Customers can also enjoy fryer favorites like onion rings, pizza logs, fries, mozzarella sticks and mac ‘n’ cheese bites. Plus, as part of the renovations, the Wales store also now features a f’real milkshake and smoothie machine, providing a selection of cold and refreshing beverage options.

With the expanded store, the Wales location now also offers more benefits for travelers, too, including a broader line of products and renovated restroom facilities. There is also an increased availability of grab-and-go food items for guests in a hurry. The store continues to offer propane services, firewood, bait and an ATM, and now has new money order services available for only 99 cents every day. Customers can also fill up their tanks with Mobil gas and diesel fuel, and accepts SNAP benefits.
